We have two ways.  All products arrive in a hand-sewn organic muslin drawstring bag with the Haiti Babi logo and include our specially made hangtags with a photo of a Haiti Babi mom who made it, along with her family, so you can see the family you are helping to support.

Boxed (ideal for gift giving):  Our brown craft boxes reflect the organic contents inside and is carefully packed to ensure your gift arrives in an impressive fashion.   Our new oversized mailing labels indicate something special has arrived.  At checkout you have the option of including a hand-written note that will be placed alongside one of our story cards to tell recipients about our project and the mom who made their gift.

Orders not requesting a box are wrapped in tissue and shipped in tear-proof mailing envelope.

15. Why is your logo three circles?

Haiti Babi's logo was inspired by a photo of three small children, all of different ethnicities, sitting next to each other.  Each represents one of these children and remind us of the interconnectedness of our worlds, as well as the importance of this connectedness in our lives, and the lives of our children.

Haiti Babi strives to strengthen this global connection, from Haiti to New York, from the mom who made the blanket to the mom who receives it, moms helping moms.

16. How is Haiti Babi changing lives?

Haiti Babi gives moms jobs. We believe that economic development is the key to ending global poverty.  Hand-outs are temporary but hand-ups last over time.  By giving a mother a job, she is able to pull herself and her family out of poverty.  We have seen Haiti Babi moms go from struggling mothers to proud and happy women and because of that, even greater moms.   With a job at Haiti Babi, a mom is able to afford rent for a house, send her kids to school, and buy food so her family can eat every day.
